There are seasons in life that quietly change us.

Venusian Dreams was created during one of those seasons for me.

After a difficult chapter, I found myself learning to trust myself again.

To listen more deeply.

To reconnect with the quieter, steadier part of myself that had always been there.

The flower, water, and soft colors in this painting are little echoes of a transformative time I spent living in Hawaii.

Although I painted her later, those memories found their way onto the canvas.

When I look at her now, I don't see someone searching.

I see someone remembering who she is.

I hope she serves as a gentle reminder that even after life's hardest seasons, there is beauty waiting for us—and that sometimes the journey back to ourselves is the most meaningful one of all.
